Executive Director

Ayokunle Iyanda is a seasoned executive with over two decades of leadership experience in business development, corporate finance, and strategic management. He has held senior roles at top-tier institutions including Seven Energy/Accugas, Oando Gas & Power, Leadway Assurance, and Sprint Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Baldwin Wallace College, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University–Bloomington, and he is a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

Ayokunle brings a dynamic blend of industry knowledge and strategic insight to Maryson Energy, guiding the company’s growth across its gas and power infrastructure portfolios with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainable development.

Adewale Olabulo

Adewale Olabulo

Director, Engineering

Adewale has over a decade of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. He brings experience across Opex Oil and Gas Resources, Oando Gas and Power Limited, and Cakasa Oil and Gas Service Company. He holds a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of Ilorin, and an MBA from Lagos State University. He is a COREN-registered member and an ISO-certified Auditor. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Management, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Commercial Lead

Abisola Shogbola, as the Commercial Lead at Maryson Energy Limited, she drives business growth, oversees contract negotiations, and manages strategic client relationships across the company’s energy and engineering projects. With over six years of experience in general operations and business development, she blends legal expertise with commercial acumen to deliver value-driven solutions.

She holds an LLB from Babcock University, a BL from the Nigerian Law School, and is pursuing her MBA at Nexford University. A member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Abisola is committed to fostering innovation, transparency, and sustainable growth in the energy sector.

Seyi Osuntokun

Technical Advisor, Gas & Power

Seyi has over 20 years of engineering, design & management experience in the Oil and Gas, Nuclear Power, and Manufacturing Industries in Canada and America in organizations such as Colonial Pipeline, AREVA, Atomic Energy of Canada, Black & McDonald, and United Wire & Cable. He is President of SONICS Services and Consulting, specializing in Power Generation, Nuclear Power, and Software. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Physics from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University. He’s also a member of the American Petroleum Institute, the American Association of Oil Pipelines, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Head, Power Projects

Kazeem brings over ten years of experience in the Power industry with the Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB) as an Energy expert officer and Power systems engineer. He has an HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Lagos State Polytechnic and a PGD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), and a member of the European Energy Sector.

Lead Project Engineer

Solomon is a results-driven Mechatronics Engineer with over 3 years’ experience leading energy infrastructure projects as Lead Project Engineer at Maryson Energy Limited. He has successfully designed, executed, and managed large-scale power and energy projects, delivering impactful and sustainable solutions.

He holds a B.Eng. in Mechatronics Engineering from the Federal University Oye Ekiti and has completed training in Project Management (PMP), HSE Levels 1–3, Human Resource Management, and other soft skills. A Graduate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Solomon is pursuing professional certification with the Project Management Institute.

Passionate about innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving, he is committed to driving transformative projects and advancing sustainable energy development in Nigeria and beyond.

Deborah Alaka

Deborah Alaka

Accountant

Deborah is an experienced accounting professional with six years of expertise spanning customer relations, financial management, and accounting within the energy and construction industry. Proficient in QuickBooks, Tally 9 ERP, and the Microsoft Office Suite, she blends strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills to deliver accurate financial reporting and foster productive client relationships.

She is currently advancing her qualifications with a B.Sc. in Accounting and is pursuing certification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and excellence in the accounting field.

Shola Tinubu

Chairman

Shola Tinubu is a highly respected insurance and financial services professional with over 30 years of experience. He holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and is a Fellow of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), UK.

He currently serves on the board of Scib Nigeria & Co. Ltd and is the immediate past President of NCRIB. Mr. Tinubu has played key roles in industry development, insurance sector transformation, oil and gas and youth empowerment through various professional and social organizations.

As Chairman of Maryson Energy Limited, he brings strategic leadership, deep industry insight, and a strong commitment to governance and innovation.

Adeolu Idowu

Director

Adeolu Idowu is an accomplished legal and compliance expert with decades of experience advising multinationals across the oil & gas and telecommunications industries. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Ibadan (1994) and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science (1998).

She is currently a the Managing Partner at Aluko & Oyebode, one of Nigeria’s leading law firms. Her previous roles include serving as Senior Legal Counsel (Compliance) for Europe, Africa, and the Caspian at a multinational oil and gas service company, and holding senior legal positions in top telecommunications firms in Nigeria.

Her deep experience in mapping legal and operational risks, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance has positioned her as a strategic asset on the Maryson Energy board. Her in-house counsel background also provides a valuable client-oriented perspective.
